CRIES was established in 2009, as a result of a participatory process of involvement and coagulation of the local community for the promotion and development of pilot initiatives in the field of social and solidarity economy. The organization has developed as a resource center, with participatory democracy, community-supported agriculture, fair trade, inclusive social enterprises, responsible consumption and ethical financing as its main areas of action.
